Michelle Saks

Chief of Staff

National Security expert and defense technology leader with over 10 years of service in the intelligence community, as both a State Department Foreign Service Officer and CIA operations officer. Before joining AstraNav, Michelle served as first Chief of Staff and later the COO of Gently, a decentralized logistics startup. Prior to Gently, she was a Vice President at Disruptive, a growth equity firm, specializing in dual-use commercial and government technologies, with a focus on autonomous systems and defense technology. During her decade of public service, Michelle served in multiple overseas locations where she focused on counterterrorism, military defense and emerging technological threats.

Michelle holds a B.A. in Arabic Language and Literature and Government from Georgetown University. She actively supports the integration of National Security Alumni into key private sector roles.
