Our Vision.

To deliver universal positioning
and navigation capabilities
to billions of devices,
from everyday smartphones
to highly complex navigation systems.

M-GPS® technology provides secure, robust, and accurate navigation in all environments (indoor/outdoor, land/sea/air). M-GPS acts as a standalone localization system, but also is a natural complement to existing solutions like legacy GPS, and any other sources of navigational data.

M-GPS doesn’t need to connect to any type of network including cellular, BLE or Wi-Fi, conserving battery power and ensuring high device security.

  • “Swiftly is leveraging AstraNav’s capabilities to enable shoppers to efficiently locate the products they are looking for, unlock personalized promotions and coupons that are specific to the aisle they’re shopping, and ultimately save them time and money, all with zero extra capital investments from our retail partners.”

    — Sean Turner, Chief Technology Officer at Swiftly Systems

  • "This application needs to be integrated into the TAK environment for immediate use, or with any hardware that already employs a magnetometer.”

    — Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Operator

  • “AstraNav’s infrastructure-free M-GPS tech worked as soon as users entered the store to give sub-meter accuracy navigation and turn-by-turn directions to any items in the store on their smartphones.”

    — Sean Turner, Chief Technology Officer at Swiftly Systems

  • "All of our PNT devices should have this software in them.”

    — Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Operator

  • “The M-GPS software application appears very mature and clearly provides a reliable source of navigation information in GPS-denied environments.”

    — Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Operator

  • “Since 2019, my team has independently reviewed AstraNav's M-GPS technology and the science behind it. I can confirm that it genuinely uses magnetic fields to provide stable and accurate navigation. Being independent of GPS, the technology fills the gap of other navigation approaches creating limitless opportunities for potential applications.”

    — Prof. Ruben E. Perez, Advanced Aircraft Design LabRoyal Military College of Canada

  • “The AstraNav technology application and demo hardware worked flawlessly in sub-terrain environment scenario. On-the-fly mapping with backtrack and replay route were both demonstrated with great precision.”

    — Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Operator

  • "At Virginia Tech, we were able to easily integrate M-GPS with commercial off-the shelf (COTS) autonomous vehicles to achieve sub-meter accuracy positioning, even indoors. AstraNav M-GPS can achieve accurate, efficient, and resilient sub-meter positioning and has the potential to be a completely ‘plug-and-play’ technology for consumers over a wide range of applications and in all domains.”
